    Oscar?????

He actually there and made it seem like fighting three times a year was SUCH A HEAVY load!!! Did you see him say that in the pre fight? THREE fights a year, three training camps, is soooo hard on him?? That right there is a man who is not holding the passion that he once did..he is older so maybe I understand..and he is VERY RICH so I understand that too...but fighters are supposed to LOVE to fight, man. Regardles of how rich u are...when u stop wanting to fight 5, 6 or 7 times a year, even if it is unrealistic to do so, it means you have turned a corner that you cannot turn back from most likely. Three fights is not a tremendous amount as you know.

His workrate at Ww was very impressive. I'm pretty sure that Romallis Ellis got run over like in 95.

LOL, that was pretty funny when his eyes bulged out and he said that was alot of fights at 35 years old.. Like 35 is ancient and 3 is alot, true.

Typo, I meant workload. He was fighting everyone.

There are ****load of fighters younger than Oscar that are not fighting 3 times a yr.

He should take notes from a young James Toney or talk to his business partner about his younger days... Shane Mosley.

Toney always fought a bunch of times a year.

Mosley defended his lightweight championship 5 times in 1998. That is beastly by today's standards.

fighting 3 times a year is alot considering the type of competition DLH will be fighting. 35 years old isn't the same for everyone and maybe it's getting much harder for DLH to recover than another 35 year old.

Too assume that you know what his body is going through is not understanding the fight game.

Hey lets be honest, if Oscar were making thousands instead of millions you can be sure he'd be fighting more than three times a year.

You could see it in the PBFvsDLH 24/7 toScully. DLH clearly stated that it training is a burden for him. His wife also stated that he changes when he is in training. He doesn't seem to have any fun working out and seems like he is going to work and is surrounded by co-workers in the gym. Now you look at the same 24/7 video and you will see Mosley who trains just as hard as Oscar does goof around a little, style impersonating and having fun training. Even PBF dances and appears to have family and friends constantly around during training and it seems more of a social enviorment than DLH's self imposed isolation and seriousness (to the point where his wife thought he was upset with her).

I disagree, I think that because Oscar is so tall for a WW, it's hard for him to make that weight at 35.

35 is ancient for a professional fighter and I truly think that it's getting much tougher for him to get into the shape.
