Forbes isn't a bum. De La Hoya had to fight to stay alive in there. Forbes was pressuring. This wasn't a Cotto/Gomez beating. This was two fighters going at it. STOP THE HATE!

I did notice that Oscar was tired in the 11th and 12th rounds but over all he had great stamina and kept the pace going. The only thing is that I have never seen Oscar get hit that many times before. He used to have a stellar defense. Do you think his defense is not as good due to his age and his reflexes slowing down?

I think it's due to him always trying to change his style. He came out more aggressive this time and got hit with a lot of shots. Against a counter puncher this may be his fate. Plus Floyd Sr is a defensive wizard, and now he's got Oscar fighting more offesively, not sure if it's gonna work out for him.

Oscar looked like he won't win his rematch against floyd.

The whole nature of the fight was a Oscar showcase , thats why they picked a small opponent than has no power , Oscar did look good in this fight because he had nothing stopping him from looking good , the points to look at is Forbes landed combos and he also made Oscar look ordinary when he forced Oscar on the backfoot ,,, yeah he looked snappy but Forbes is not Mayweather , you are only as good as what you beat and Forbes had no right to be going the distance with Oscar considering all the advantages Oscars way , Oscar wont get a 30 hr weigh-in like he did here and must come down another 3 pounds and Floyd is better than Forbes in every department , way better .

I thought he looked good as well. Picked his spots, threw combinations, worked his jab and didn't get tired down the stretch.

I still think he should get rid of the shoulder roll defense.

Forbes is far from a bum, in his 11 year career he has never gone down. He has sparred literally hundreds of hours with PBF and never went down from him either. He was picked because he's a slick fighter and they are trying to prepare for PBF, so I thought he accomplished that in this tune up.

IMO a prime DLH beats Cotto, easily.

watching oscar saturday only made me think the fight with floyd should be called off immediately.

                    its a waste of time
