I'm thinking Forbes might a hidden gem at 140

What do think? He's got top notch defense and top notch chin and body. He's pretty fast deceptive with his punches.

I'm thinking this fight De La Hoya and all the sparring he's had with Floyd Jr he's ready to do some damage. I think he can go down to 140 and become a champ and take some cats out ala Nate Campbell.

Forbes showed a very solid chin last night and threw some very solid punches just not enough of them. Many said that he was robbed against Demitrius Hopkins and he has a win over Francisco Bojado so I think he would do well at jr. welterweight. It would be a more natural fit for him.I also like the idea of a fight with Hatton. It could be very interesting.

Forbes is a guy who has had to pay his dues the hard way. He didn't have a promoter coming up so he was matched tough. When he was 5-0, he had to fight guys who were also 5-0. The fact that he is still here shows what kind of fighter he is. He hasn't been protected at all and is still a top contender at 35-36.

I was very impressed with Forbes last night. When he picked his shots, he was able to hit Oscar with some pretty clean hard punches and his defense was quite impressive.

Hmm, hope he doesn't read this.

Then I guess Forbes has a better upside than I previous thought. I think he has the skill to beat anyone at 140. The only problem is getting the decision.

I would have guessed he was older too. The only reason I knew was from seeing the tale of the tape graphic before the fight.

Yep, Forbes could make some noise if he's matched correctly.

Forbes is a very good prospect at 140. i think he could be a top guy, and would give many top guys problems.
