    Domination = looking like Shi*

    whats this all about? I mean damn Floyd can fight a bum and dominate and you all pray to him as if he is God! Oscar does what he is supposed to do win against Forbes dominate and yet he looks like ****? Why is that?
    Why is it that because Oscar had some swelling on his face he shouldnt fight Mayweather? I mean really? Oscar wasnt trying to come out of that fight un touched, he wasnt trying to stay pretty in there he was doing what all great fighters do he seperated himself from Forbes, he won clearly period.
    yes Forbes was smaller, No Oscar didnt knock out Forbes but neither did any of the super middles that Forbes fought recently.
    if Oscar did knock out Forbes he would still be bashed by you all, what did you expect to see? I mean really what are you looking for DLH to do in there? murder the man with his hands?
    get real Forbes is an over looked former world champion with a wealth of experience under his belt and has spent years working with the Mayweathers, that kind of experience will lead you to the finish line if you use it correctly and Forbes did just that last night.
    dont knock De La hoya for not stopping Forbes Credit Forbes for going 12 with a proven champion like DLH, not many could go 12 with Oscar.

        De La Hoya has one KO win in the last five years, so please don't try to sell me that he is some killer puncher. His power has been overrated since he left the lightweight division.

          I dont think his power is overrated, lets be honest he has had two in the last five years or did you forget about Campos as well?
          anyhow I think the level of opposition is why his Kayo Ratio did drop off, I mean damn when you fight the best you cant expect to knock them all out.
          nobody is saying he is a killer puncher but he is a puncher period, and if you think other wise then your an idiot.

            I think what we saw yesterday was 3 fold.
            1. Oscar got hit a lot, with combos. It looked like he's slowed down a hair, in terms of his defense.
            2. He missed alot and badly at times. Again same deal just a hair slower.
            3. He's lost a little power. Not a lot, but a little bit.

            Don't get me wrong, he did alright, great for his age. And when he shortened up his punches in the last round he was pretty effective. Also his stamina looked improved. He brought it and he has great heart and he's still a top fighter.

            I think some of us who remember back to fighters hanging around too long, Ali/Holmes for instance, are probably a little sensitive when we pick up those early signs of a fighter starting to lose skills to time.

                I think some people were expecting a KO and didn't know that Forbes is actually a good fighter that hasn't been KO'ed before or I think even dropped. So for some people since the KO didn't happen that equals he fought like **** for some reason.

                    Then again, he has moved up to middleweight in those last five years. Of course he isn't knocking Sturm or Hopkins out...

                    But in reality... if he knocked Mayorga out, he should have knocked Forbes out. I mean, ****, Forbes's highest weight world title is 130... surely someone who knocked Mayorga and Vargas out at 154 should have been able to get rid of Forbes.
