Froch is 30. Its all well and good calling out Calzaghe but until he's fought decent enough names to make himself a worthwhile contender then its not going to happen. He better be fighting a big name after this training bout.

froch is way overrated. he has so many flaws it not even funny. he would get ****** out by jaidon, trust me. i do hope he does well, but once he fights someone world class he will lose.

im not sayin froch is ducking anyone but its quite ridiculous hes rated no.1 and is likely to be handed the belt by just fighting nobodies. i dont know if any fight offers have been made, iv never heard froch call out any of the top guys. all i hear is him challenging calzaghe, which everyone knows isnt going to happen anyway.

I haven't always been Froch's biggest fan, I respect his talent but not his mouth, however, I feel I have to stand up for him a little bit over taking this fight. Put yourself in the position of someone that fights for a living, you spent £X on training and preparing only for the other side to pull out. Froch a) has to pay the bills and b) needs an outlet after all of that training, if only to shake off the ring rust.

Likewise, you cannot expect anyone high profile to take an opponent such as Froch on short notice, that would be asking for trouble. Froch is in a risky situation, he could end up a champion without the pulling power to force anyone of note taking the risk in fighting him; I suggest he takes two or three fights in the states to get his profile up.
