You sound 50% ******ed, 50% like a sore loser to me. Did you get outboxed by someone? Too bad. Blame it on yourself, not boxing.well reason i ask is because i am a fighter... i thought boxing was a sweet science like blocking sticking and moving countering right but too me it is about whailing your arms like a ***** landing nothin getting counter and winning?? where did i miss something at??? i will be damned if i make myself look ****** out of form and clumsy i have tech and good form my punches snap heads back i pick and roll the judges want to see agression and not effectiveness.. say you have a pinyada( those thing wit candy inside in case i spelled it wrong) it not how many times you swing at it that wont get it open its how many times you hit it and break it?? tell me if i am ******ed or
If you're as good as you say you are, no problem, you should be winning your fights. Heck, you're so great, just go pro right away. I hear Kid Thunder's looking for his next victim.Comment

This thread is ridiculous. What's the point of local darts leagues? What's the point of kid's soccer? What's the point of playing pool with your friends? What's the point of going bowling?Comment

Basically you can stay in amateur as long as you want, it's a seperate sport from pro boxing not fought for money but for amateur chamionships and olympic etc...
Alot of successful pro's are successful ams as well it help develop skills. Some fights that beat everyone in the ams sometimes donts do so well in the pros or lost to people they beat in the ams and vice versa. A recent example would be Taylor - Pavlik where Taylor beat Pavlik in the ams but not in the pros. Haye managed to KO 2 people in the ams that bat him as well so theres that.Comment

I doubt Gamboa(fresh outta the olympics) would be able to beat a top 5 contender. Remember, he's just out of the olympics first fight at pro is with a top 5 contender. Do you actually think he'll win?You mean as good as Zelenoff?
It's just a different sport. Look at a guy like Gamboa (or any other top 10 am in the world), are you telling me he wasn't good enough to go pro when he won the Olympics? Truth is, the top ams are better than 99% of the pro fighters out there. They just compete under a different format.Comment

so if the crowd and the fighter i lost said i beat him... i knocked he mouth piece out twice and got no knock down i hit him with 3 uppercuts and he turn his back to me like say no more spit his mouth piece out the ref gave him a sec washed the mouthpiece off and continued to fight whats that??Comment

aggression and effecctiveness are both irrelevent. Basically its scored on how many hits you get to the body and head. The shots have to hit with the white part of the glove and must have you entire shoulder and leg movement in them to count.Comment
