    Victor Ortiz

Not televised!? I checked both Showtime and HBO before I went out to eat and HBO didn't have him, and Showtime was showing the Marquez vs Vasquez trilogy, please tell me someone got a glimpse of Victor.

Ortiz was alright, he got knocked down in the third round, it was a flash knockdown though. Apart from that little moment, he won pretty easily.

He was pretty gd very technical and his a natural right hander in a southpaw stance which in interesting.
He got knocked down once but knocked the other guy down 3 times to make up for it eventually knockin him out and he was very awkwand to.

just watched the fight, Ortiz looked good. He knocked Esalas down, then when he went after him he threw a left and brought his hand back low and Esalas nailed him with a right hand that put him down. He got right up. He got naled with another big right a few seconds later too but it had no effect on him. Besides that he fought great. In the 4th and 5th round he put Esalas down with some "vicious" left hand shots and in the 5th Esalas stayed down for 10. He fought patient, stayed calm through everything, picked his shots, pretty impressive. I thought he looked good.

dont forget he took this fight on very short notice and came in above 140 pounds.

Yeah, "The Golden Child" Danny Jacobs, he was a very, very good amateur. Him and Yuriorkis Gamboa are the two prospects that I'm looking at for big things in the future.
