Forbes was brought in as a Mayweather analogue that couldn't punch, he did just that. He made the fight difficult, worked his defense, got in some good punches, but Margarito is not even on the technical level of Forbes.

Oscar was absolutely Hammering Forbes' arms. That would have been Margarito's face. If you are telling me that a ref would not have stopped the fight after Margarito took 15 unanswered punches from Oscar, you are out of your mind.

The reason Oscar is so effective is because he IS a power puncher, but he knows when to turn off the power and flurry. The ref thinks, HOLY ****, this guy is getting pummeled by a power puncher, I GOTTA SAVE HIM!

Yes, basically. With the exception of Feliciano, Margarito has perhaps the worst defense in boxing. His blocking is poor, his slipping, well he doesn't have any slipping.

What does he have that Oscar hasn't seen? Exactly, nothing. Having a good chin does not stop you from getting TKOed. Very few refs are willing to let fighters take unanswered punches from someone that can hit like Oscar.

Margarito would eat Oscars bazooka jab all night long. He would get hit with loads of flush left hooks. Uppercuts, right hands, body shots.

People give Oscar **** "Oh he is just a business man, he can't fight".

Oscar WAS the #1 p4p fighter in the world. Oscar still is one of the p4p hardest punchers in the sport. Oscar is still one of the smartest fighters in the sport. Oscar still can put combinations together. Oscar still has one of the best blocking games in the sport.

He has under rated hand speed. People seem to forget how hard his jab is. How hard his left hook is, how good his combinations are.
