The Ortiz fight was fun despite his opponent constantly running. 4 knockdowns including 2 from each fighter virtually back to back.

The ring card girls were impressive. Especially this one with RACK.

If you're pissed off at HBO for not showing undercard fights, EMAIL THEM and tell them so. I don't even know anyone that doesn't get pissed off over having to sit through an hour of Larry Merchants bull**** to watch 48 minutes of boxing. Commentators are supposed to comment on the FIGHT, not have their own talk show with a boxing match added as a sideshow. There isn't a fight fan on the planet who doesn't feel the same (at least none I know of), but if they don't ***** about it to HBO, they'll never change. After all, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, right?

I have to agree with 2501 on this one. I would have loved to have seen those prospect fights. Nothing better then seeing some up and comers mix it up in the ring. OH well I guess thats what ESPN2 is for.

jreckoning thinks they deliberately didn't have an undercard so they could tell oscar de la hoya's story for the 937 th time in the event someone doesn't know it by now.

Showtime would do that too but make the show longer , and also showtime shows prospects and has ShoBox as well.

HBO is designed for the casual fan.

The real question is: why is this forum sucking Forbes off? He gave an honest effort but he didn't do more than that.
