campbell is to big for him. he hits to hard also. they are both old but campbell has alot less mileage on him due to a late start in the sport. campbell by late stoppage most likely on a body shot i think

Campbell has gotten better since then though. It's a hard fight for me to pick as well.

Marquez all the way, I like Nate but he won't be able to intimidate and take Juan Manuel's punches like he did Diaz.

I am barley picking Nate. This fight will be a close one for sure, I am nervous about this pick.

That's the first thing that came to my mind: Robbie Pedan. And I believe that' s the answer to this thread. Campbell beat Diaz, but Diaz was there for the takin'. No style, just straight balls to the wall, It just took someone to out-hustle him, which Nate did. Marquez is much more intelligent and carries the weight well. I see JMM picking him apart.

I think he looked good at 130, strong & wide. I seen him live against Juarez, talked to him, he's ripped at that weight, and has the structure to fight at 135. Nate fought for the longest at 130 anyway only one weight class above where Marquez reigned for so long. Plus, Marquez has enough counter punching power to keep Nate in check. Nate has no chin, the only reason he went toe to toe with Diaz, is cuz Diaz hits like a girl (typical Texas Mexican boxer, they never learn to punch right).

Ref. your .gif with Daniel Santos. I remember watching his first fights on the undercards of De La Hoya and Moralez Top Rank PPVs. He could have been PR next big star, great power in a lefty stance. Seems like when Kofi KO'd him, he was never the same, a little gun shy. He had/s great ability though, underrated.
