      Trinidad on (May 2nd)
Well one out of three isn't bad, at least he'll go out on a win.

FIRST- Oscar didn't beat Trinidad. Trinidad beat Oscar. Oscar became defensive from the middle of the fifth round when he was hit with an enormous body shot. He was still going good, although Trinidad had won a few of the early rounds too, just not as flashily as Oscar. Trinidad camwe ion from the 6th. From the 9th rd FOR SURE, maybe beginning in the 8th. Oscar out-and-out ran. Trinidad couldn't KD him because even though punches were landing, Oscar was going backwards so fast that they didn't knock him down. But he was staggered a few times. If the ropes weren't there, he'd have made a new record for the 440 metres.

SECOND- Trinidad isn't "finished". He's well on the downgrade, but if he is KEEN to fight, he'll give a GOOD fight.

Oscar's and Mayweather's talk is all "BUMPH", they have been scattering names of potential opponents around like confetti. The weight difference is really too GREAT. If Trinidad hit Oscar to the body the way he hit Jones, Oscar would collapse like a concertina, chest-high protective corset or not.

They're just trying to stir up the usual smelly PR.....

LAST- Trinidad should stay retired. he has buckets of money, but King is whispering into his ear all the time.

And another thing for you guys who don't like to hear the facts. Oscar ONLY wanted the "rematch" when he was CERTAIN that Trinidad had retired. He bombarded the airways with suggestions and hints, and made a hugely publicized visit to Puerto Rico to have lunch with Trinidad, supposedly for the purpose of "talking him out" of retirement. BUT....you all may forget, that AFTER the original fight, when Trinidad said he'd give Oscar a rematch, Oscar said no he didn't want one. I'd bet, that if Trinidad had said OK, that day, Oscar would have made himself scarce. Although Oscar's standard tactic with a top guy, if he doesn't have an advantage by the other guy having a bad time making weight, is to get him just AFTER he's had a bad loss, a KO loss is even better. This is a standard manoeuvring practice in the boxing world. That's why you often see a top guy with his TWO back-to-back losses.
The poor guy wants rehabilitation and "knows" he can do better. But his pride and body betray him. He isn't ready.

Oscar says a lot more than his prayers, and none of us is smart enough to be able to winkle out the REAL truth from the ordinary truth......

This crap Mayweather is saying about Oscar beating Trinidad at ANY weight is just showing how "loyal" he is to his boss, and giving him his expected backside lick. I seem to have fallen afoul of a group of sudden Oscar-lovers in dark sunglasses- some of them with white canes too.

If Trinidad hit Oscar just ONCE in the body the way he hit Roy Jones, Oscar would turn green and collapse like an accordeon.

yes, oscar will beat trinidad AGAIN. oscar won that fight. i guess the judges in that fight were blind if not bribed. oscar was dominating trinidad from round 1 to round 9, and backtracked only in round 11 to 12 to preserved his lead but the judges lost their minds.

if oscar retires with one good fight after ugly boy floyd jr, it would be cotto or margarito, NOT TRINIDAD. delahoya has nothing to proved to the world that he beat trinidad because he already beat the man.
