Its high time this guy faced a real opponent.By the time Floyd fought his 17th fight he was fighting for the WBC championship.I wonder how many more bums we will have to see Khan fighting?

This is no test for Amir,he will take Rees out early on if it is made....But even Khan's fans can't pretend this is a genuine attempt to step up his opponents,Rees is an average boxer with average ability and Warren knows there is next to no risk in this match up.

Another bum on the menu.and everytime it will be billed as 'a very tough opponent for Khan'.

No doubt Khan has great potential but he might need to cut more strings if ever he's to become great like what Ricky Hatton did.As a matter of fact Ricky started making proper money when he broke those ties .

no doubt it's an easy fight

Khan seems ambitious so I expect to see him leave Warren as his contract with Warren will run out soon!!

Ricky Hatton's 18th fight was vs pedro Alonso Teran.

It took until 31 fights before someone anywhere near world level faced him (and that Phillips was world level is very debateable.

Rees was/is a top 10-15 at 140, and will have better power at 135. It is a step up. simple as. Khan has gone very quickly by padded British standards.

Gavin Rees is one of the worst world champions in boxing history, but he was still a step up for Khan. This is Khan's second former champion in his first 18 fights. He should be ready for Nate in 6 months with 2-3 more fights.
