Seminole Warriors Boxing’s executive director Leon Margules took the time today to respond to the investigation and possible change in the decision of Raul Marquez’s bout with Bronco McKart. Though we confirmed yesterday with Fight Fax that the change had already been issued by the Saginaw Chippewa Boxing Commission from a split decision in favor of Raul to a majority draw. It came as quite a surprise to the Seminole Warriors Boxing head because it was only yesterday that he received notice of an investigation. [details]

For the Record
For the Record, I pulled a fight fax today for Marquez and verified that the
Saginaw Chippewa Comission has indeed sent the change.
Fight Fax has recorded the fight a draw. The change is recorded taking place 4-30-08...Comment

Looks to me like the writer of this article is in bed with the McKART camp. Take a poll on who really won the fight. Even the least experienced boxing fan would pick Marquez as the winner. Does the writer think McKART won?Comment

I have no interest in who won only in the story... Frankly I scored it 96-94 Marquez but I wasn't there, only saw the tape.. Anyone who thinks fights don't look different from tape to ringside doesn't know boxing.
To say I'm in bed with McKart is just plain wrong.. But opinions are like belly buttons I guess.Comment

Actually at ringside you could really see how Marquez power was affecting McKart. Bronco was holding like crazy through out the whole fight and trying to headbutt Marquez at times. He was put into survival mode. Looks to me like McKart's home state doesn't wanna see him retire just yet. Maybe he can be a stepping stone for some young talent. But hey like you said thats just my belly button opinion.Comment
