I'll go with 7. He doesn't seem to have that lightening speed he used to, to always be able to hit you with the power though (unless your name was Sweet Pea.)

I thought I'd do this thread after a friend just told me, that De La Hoya has no power

Run a poll on Mayweathers Power and watch the nuthuggers claim he is a 9 or a 10

Point on about the speed thing.

I'd hazard to guess our perception of his power is influenced directly by how fast his hands are. I mean I still think he has some of the fastest in boxing.......and when he was young ****.

The only thing you see flail wide is the missed left hook to the body, lol. I know everyone notices that. He'll miss and go off balance temporarily.

Oscar has some good power I gave him a 7 out of 10. He was able to drop mayorga with 1 punch so that goes to show you what type of power he has. While it took Tito Trinidad many punches to even drop mayo.

Hard to rate a totally complete class fighter's power.

I mean he pulls his punches, because he won't over commit to them. He never has and never will...........he throws smart, short, crisp shots that won't leave you open to a counter.

However, we see him knock people out like that.

lol so we know he's a harder puncher than Winky Wright is for sure.
