Honestly speaking, which do u think had more of an effect on Hatton. Floyd's check hook, or him running head first into a steel ringpost? Of course it was Floyd's check hook that sent him there, but which had more of an effect?

these guys are not fooling anyone, they should just stick to doing what they intended to do in the first place. winning a boring decision.
i think its not only level of competition either...i think hatton's style played right into mayweather's style...

mayweather got what he wanted; a smaller fighter who is sometimes quite reckless...all mayweather did was fight going backwards and make hatton pay for all those wide looping shots...that eventually accumulated to a knockdown.

I think if you put mayweather in with someone much more technically sound he has a harder time going for a knockout...like an oscar de la hoya (who is 10X more technically sound that hatton)

i would seriously bet someone points oscar doesnt get stopped either...

i'd put all my points on that one...

it would be HIGHLY unlikely that oscar gets stopped...

same way i bet ALL my points on oscar fighting forbes...EVEN AT 33 to 1 ODDS!!!

floyd may have buzzed oscar MAYBE twice the whole fight...and oscar wasnt hurt either...just a buzz that he recoved from in like 2 seconds literally...

so ellerbe needs to stick to eating doughnuts at krispy kreme with winky wright instead of making predictions that he has no business making...

i'd like to see ellerbe go down to vegas and bet a ridiculous amount of money on floyd winner by knockout or stoppage then...at least 50 cent put his money where his mouth is the first time oscar and floyd fought by putting a million dollars on floyd winning...

          ellerbe is an idiot.

oh i would LOVE for floyd to talk about going toe to toe with oscar (like he said he would before the last fight) and ACTUALLY FIGHT TOE TO TOE this time...

if he and oscar stood toe to toe i think theres little hope for floyd to win.

I know it; you know it; almost ALL of boxing knows it.

when oscar was able to trap floyd like he did in breif moments in there first fight oscar was using the jab and winning the round...floyd was only winning while he was fighting backwards...

he cant go toe to toe with someone like oscar who is a fantastic counterpuncher and has a great left hook...

floyd knows it...thats why i expect to see a lot of dancing by mayweather in this fight no matter what he or ellerbe or even roger says...

hatton is the kind of fighter that likes to get in there and fight, rough you up, swarm you with all the clinches. he's a predictable fighter. for mayweather it was a piece of cake and he knew excalty what he was going to do before he got into the ring. ricky is too wreckless and he didnt have the punch to make any kind of difference in the fight. it gets really boring watching all his clinch fests. and then he blames the ref for not winning because he wasnt allowed more clinching.. come one ricky no one wants to see that ****. he just didnt know how to pressure floyd. pure and simple. walking into floyd's shots like a bull. that's what happens when you underestimate your opponents power. it ticked me off about hatton, because he had no respect for floyd's power. he though he was going in there to play.

I wouldnt call it a lucky body shot, I would call that a scripted body shot, Look from my experience "Personal" when you get hit to the liver as described by both DLH and Nard, you cant breathe, you cant even move to be honest with you.
How is it that Oscar was able to have enough air in his lungs to scream? not only that **** the canvas with his hand? suddenly one week after the fight Bernard is Oscars business partner, what kind of **** is that?
wait a second lets go back prior to the body shot, since when did Hopkins respect any smaller man in the ring? he walked right to Tito and fought him head first, why did this change with Oscar?
anyhow to me that knock out is su****ious not saying it isnt real but the circumstances prior to and the results after lead me to think that this might have been a fix, especially when you consider how close of friends they became one week later, so much so that Oscar allowed Hopkins a part of a huge promotional company.

                  1. Check hook is not a real punch.
                  2. Hatton was eating straight rights all night like candy, to no effect.
                  3. Floyd's 4 stoppages in his 11 fights since leaving 130 prior to this fight show that as he moved up in weight, his power dropped significantly.
                  4. Absolutely running head-first into the steel ringpost had more effect.

mayweather will never go toe to toe with anyone. this is a fighter who absolutely avoids all the risks at any cost
