According to DLH: JMM vs Campbell its Almost a Done Deal

Great news, Jmm will obviously be the boxer, Campbell will be the stalker. Jmm will have to engage Campbell, don't know if he'll handle the harder shots from 135lber Campbell. Jmm will land cripser punches, but he lacks that difinitive power that can end the fight.Campbell is more of a thudding puncher, in that his punches are hard and move you.


Honestly, I would rather see JMM vs Guzman or Jmm vs Valero in Texas.

If JMM does face Cambell next then what happens to the WBO strap, does it get stripped or what? The mandatory (Cassa, Khan or Peterson) is coming up soon and if he fights JMM instead then that could be Warren's ticket to stick Khan in with Bubba Bignuts as is his way.

Not that Bubba should be underestimated, i'm sure none of the umpalumpa's he has faced have managed to put him down.

I'll tell you what, JMM beating Campbell is by no means a given. In fact I'm favoring Campbell in this fight. He's bigger, stronger, faster, & has a damn mean streak. Campbell is a great body puncher & can fight on the inside w/o taking much punishment. Truthfully I think JMM is biting off more than he can chew right now.

And i aggree with some of your post. Marquez is defently not in an easy fight here. He has his work cut out for him. Very tough fight. But if Campbell is the stalker and the Marquez of old shows up(the calm, counter puncher) then i see Marquez winning. If they brawl through out the fight, Marquez defetnly has a chance of loses. No easy fight.

One thing is sure Nate campbell may have his ribs taken out after the Marquez fight. Vs. Juan he didnt' like them bodyshots at all. Marquez is a great body puncher and hurt Pacuqiao to the body in there last fight. I've seen Campbell fight before and hes acceptable to body punchs. I think thats where Marquez will have his succes in beating Campbell.

Very true! But I also think that Campbell is an exceptional body puncher himself. He punished Diaz to the body as well as previous opponents. I hope this fight happens because it'll be a good one for us fans.
