I'm not sure I'd know where to put him numerically, there have been a lot of great fighters over the years, but a high ATG if he beats Calzaghe?

    Definitely.

He's already Top 20 - and higher on many lists. But realistically, how far can you expect him to go? I think it depends on HOW he beats Calzaghe should he win.

I might want to add that I'm not too sure this fight ever happens. Just a feeling.

He is top 20 ALREADY. A win over Joe C would shoot him up to the lower part of the top 10 or top 15.

yes a prime jones is an all time great, he was able to carry his skills to the heavyweight division, and still be the same roy jones. what happened after the ruiz fight shouldnt count, the weight loss definetly ****ed him up big time.

yeah either that or a potential fight with Evander, at that point holyfield was already damaged goods, roy would have outboxed him. and after that he could have taken on Lennox Lewis, a fight i doubt that he would win, or even go the distance, but imagine the payday. an undefeated havyweight champion Roy Jones facing Lennox Lewis for the undisputed title. Huge fight. even if he would have lost that fight bad, his reputation wouldnt be as tarnished as it was in the tarver and johnson losses, because there's no shame loosing to Lewis, especially for a former middleweigh champ.
