Great fight. Even though Mayweather is the bigger man in the ring giving him the edge and a win. At 130, depending on if you're talking about the Marquez before John or after John. It would be a great chess match. Two very skilled fighters, though Mayweather has more speed of hands and feet, but as great as Mayweathers counter puncing abilities are Marquez is also pin point accuracy especially in prime form. It would go to the cards. No easy fight for Mayweather. I think we could have judged this fight a little if Mayweather had fought Casamayor. But again, the fight goes depending on which Marquez you're talking about. The cautious, pin point accurate, boxing Marqeuz, or the puncher/boxer Marquez pin point accuracey but more acceptable to be hit when he trades defense for offense. At the end it'd be a great fight by two very skilled fighters.

i would have loved to see this fight, but at 130, mayweather was about as unbeatable as it got, so i could see him stopping marquez, because of how much power floyd had at this weight added to how much faster he was than marquez. juan has tremendous skill, mayweather was just too elusive at this weight class, too much skill for juan. juan would be too slow overall for floyd, not just handspeed, i'm talking overall movement, overall skill. juan's skilled, no doubt about it, but not fastly skilled compared to floyd, without that looking to confusing to you. floyd's defensive movement with his upperbody alone would negate juan from really landing anything significant on him. let's ne honest, at 130, there no outboxing floyd mayweather jr, period, and juan would of have to changed his gameplan just to deal with floyd's movement. i see floyd stopping juan at this weight, no doubt about it.

Damn good fight. I would say PBF wins because of having more skill (not by that much) but the biggest difference would be athleticism. With their skills not being that far apart I feel PBF being more athletic than Marquez would put him over the top.

Too much skills in the ring at one time man. This would have been a fantastic fight at 130, I see PBF having more skills, not by too much but a bit more nonetheless. Plus the power advantage and this would be high speed chess with punches as the pawns.

JMM lost to an unknown Chris John and was knocked down by a shot Mab(I can't fault JMM for eating canvas 4 times against Pac)... that means PBF would beat Marquez convincingly. Marquez could probably lose by KO or tKO.
