Nar, nar...I see Marciano knocking the great man down in the late rounds, like he did to Walcott. Marciano would wear him down slowly but surely and then bam!

Marciano was the Gambler of boxing: knew when to hold'em, knew when to throw'em.

Round one starts with Marciano bobbing and weaving, looking to land a big punch, but Evander is already throwing bombs, right away Rocky knows it's gonna be a long night!

I'm gonna change my pick from the one I posted in the other thread.

The fact that Evander's a cruiserweight makes a big difference.

At 190....Evander would have not been as strong as he became....his punch would not be as heavy....his ability to absorb big shots not the same.

I think Holyfield would outbox Marciano in spurts. He'd bust Rock up, without really hurting him.
He'd be lured into one exchange too many. Rocky would rock & drop him in the 9th/10th rd....& then batter him for most of the late rds.....taking over on points.
              Marciano W15 CRUISERWEIGHt Holyfield.

Marciano was one hell of a tough fighter, Evander wins on points or gets carried out of the ring. These are the only two ways this could end in my opinion.

Neither fighter is giving an inch in this one, and both fighters can take a shot! Evander has the edge in speed, but Rocky really packs a punch! Big rights from both fighters land at the bell, they touch gloves and head to their corners with round one in the books - I have it even after round one.
