    LOS ANGELES – The names that have carried the sport in recent years are familiar to all fight fans – De La Hoya, Hopkins, Mosley, Marquez and Barrera – but who will carry on the tradition of boxing excellence when these legends have retired and entered the Hall of Fame? With Bernard Hopkins and Juan Manuel Marquez on hand to help with the announcement, Golden Boy Promotions' Vice President and Matchmaker Eric Gomez introduced the young prospects at a press conference held today at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.       I love seeing up and coming prospects. It will be interesting to see how all these fighters careers pan out.

        it's good to know there's some good latinos comming up in the game, i was starting to get a lil scared. barrera is gone, morales is gone, vargas is gone, de la hoya is on his way out, jurez is almost done, jcc jr still has a long way to go to prove anything. thank god the marquez bros are still here, along with vazquez. it feels like an era is leaving, hope **** pans out for the future. it would suck if boxing starts looking like the heavyweight division.
