Absolutely not... and youll find way more negative posts about floyd then you will positive from me lately... I just posted these today:

I praise him inside the ring.
I denounce his recent opponents list.
And couldn't care less what he does outside the ring.

Right up to the Hatton knockout he is undoubtedly the p4p best.

But if he chooses, for this year to rematch Oscar, and next year to rematch Hatton, who are simply not on the p4p list anymore... that will be a year and a half of fighting not the best, and he just cannot be on top of the p4p list. Even though I myself believe, he is the p4p best.

For as long as you wish to stay on top of that list, you must continue to prove it against the best.

Anything can happen in the ring. To me Roy was always a better fighter than Tarver... but one punch to the jaw can basically equalize that difference. Tyson was ALWAYS better than Douglas, but lack of training on one part, and complete focus on another, can equalize that.

Floyd can come in not feeling well, he can break his hand in the fight, he can get hit with ONE body shot that could break a rib. He can overlook Cotto, he can believe his own invincibility as did Roy and Tyson. To me, of course Floyd should beat Cotto, hes a better fighter all the way around, to me. But, that certainly doesn't mean that he WILL. If theres anything we have learned in this game, upsets are frequent.

And, any human being can have an off night.

Obviously Ricky doesn't fight as good at 147 as he does at 140... but to be completely objective, I don't think Floyd fights as good at 147 as he does at 140... My only point is that, the weight difference in the outcome of the fight just doesn't hold water to me... I think Floyd is just the superior fighter, at any weight.
