I totally understand, but if my favorite fighter were following in the footsteps of Floyd, he will no longer be my favorite fighter. I was one of the first people to show my dissapoinment for the Gomez fight. I even wrote a letter to HBO and bashed them for approving that fight, then posted the letter here on the forums. I'll be a dedicated fan, but once u start selling yourself out, and not giving a **** about the fans that have stuck by u since day one, then im jumping ship. No sense in praising and supporting a fighter who can give 2 ****s about u. U feel me?

Its not about "hating" him. Its about being critical of someone who calls himself the "best ever", and has the title of pfp#1, yet doesnt live up to it. Thats all. What he did in the lower weightclasses cannot be questioned. Its what he's been doing, or should i say "not doing" since moving up in weight that raises questions.

I know what you mean man! If he fights Hatton again, I will really lose a lot of respect for him. It just keeps dwindling away.

I really do love to watch him fight though. I'm not in denial though.

yeah - why not just ignore them? there are those who are here to discuss boxing and then those who are here to police the forum in favor of there favorite fighter. horus and burner for example are the floyd police - **** em' just ignore em'. i don't take anything they say as anything of value by any means its so incredibly twisted and biased that its a waste of anyones time to engage either of them.

But if he chooses, for this year to rematch Oscar, and next year to rematch Hatton, who are simply not on the p4p list anymore... that will be a year and a half of fighting not the best, and he just cannot be on top of the p4p list. Even though I myself believe, he is the p4p best.

For as long as you wish to stay on top of that list, you must continue to prove it against the best.

Well, naturally i have to assume that a guy with "Floyd Mayweather boxings pfp clown in his sig" is a hater. Especially coupled woth tha fact that i only ever see you dissing him.

I'm a fan, not a nuthugger although i have been pretty boarderline. But what you have to realise is that the Mayweather Nuthugers have all vanished now, they have been taken over by Cotto Nuthuggers/Floyd haters, and it is those guys that draw me towards nuthugging.

Although, i generally can't be arsed and go laugh at Hartley/Zelenoff threads on Boxrec
