    I do want to say that Pacquiao has a weird type of power though.

    He really probably can't punch holes in inanimate objects like an Edison Miranda can... But something Kaynan said about Zab Judah comes to mind... he is so fast, that when he punches, he doesn't give your nervous system time to tense up and take the punch. That means 100% of the power of the punch gets through, whereas a Miranda punch, probably a significant amount less of the power actually damages his opponent.

    Interesting stuff.
    The power you described isnt just about zab judah or manny pacquiao. it's the classic cliche of "its always the shots you dont see that hurt the most" It doesnt matter how slow a boxer throws. if the guy on thte end of it doesnt see it coming...it's going to hurt like a *****. Hence...the importance of setting up power shots with the jab.
