He's been gone too long. He's got the comfort of retirin on top and havin gotten more props as a great champ since he's been outta the action than he was gettin while he was fightin. If he came back no way he'd be hungry enough to get in top form. He'd end up gettin embarrassed.

Lewis had trained for a couple of months for the Klitschko fight. Vitali was a substitute for Kirk Johnson, and he had the same notice as Lewis. Don't make it sound like Lewis only had trained for a couple of weeks. And yes, all of those fighters you named (except Oleg, who lost his title to Peter if you don't follow boxing news) would beat Lennox Lewis in 2008.Comment

That would be a strong indication of a fighter nearing the end of his career. Lewis was already very wealthy and was bored of boxing having already achieved most of his goals. I think a comeback for him now would be a total disaster.Comment
