Roy beat everyone he faced in the 90's then including wins over Bernard Hopkins, James Toney, Mike McCallum and Virgil Hill (Dropped him with a bodyshot).

Roy was the ring champion at 160, 168 and 175.

On paper oscar has a loss to Trinidad, which CLEARLY should have been a win. But dont forget his controversial decisions over Whitaker and Quartey, The Whitaker fight was still somewhat close, but even Oscar and his fans, The Networks, The writers all thought he lost against Ike Quartey, Quartey won 8 rounds guaranteed in that fight, and if you create a poll here majority of the people will tell you the same, so the point is he won some that he should have lost and he lost some that he should have won.

Whereas Roy was clearly more dominant and won all of his big fights in impressive fashion too. The only loss he had in the 90's was against Griffin when he was beating him Montell until the controversial DQ, Few months later Roy TKO'd him in the first round.

Who ever voted for Oscar has to be either Hispanic or anti black. Oscar lost to Trinidad in the late 90s. Lewis was stopped by Mccall as the early 90s but did some good things in the division by unifying. Roy Jones was unbeaten throughout the 90s(with the exception of the Griffin DQ, which was avenged by first round KO) and captured multiple belts in many weight classes. Cleary Roy Jones was the man in the 90's and he was also pound for pound #1, which Oscar and Lewis wasn't.

The Whitaker fight was sloppy, but Oscar did win. The Quartey fight was very close, with the edge going to Oscar for that 10-8 12th rd. i admit , there were stretches were Quartey and his jab were dominating, but it came down to the last rd. Also final point, all these controversial fights happened 3 weight classes from his starting point at 130.

You're wrong, Oscar was lb 4 lb in 97.

I know he was lb 4 lb in 98, I believe he was in 97, by beating Whitaker.
