PS: One of the most action packed bouts I ever witnessed live took place in my living room on Halloween night 1997 when Rasheim Jefferson , Philadelphia, won a 12 round split decision over Dwayne "Super D" Hairston, Hartford. We moved all the furniture and used kitchen chairs as corner stoolsComment

Iceman,
Great work on this story man I really enjoyed it. I also am a HUGE fan of Archie moore. My favorite qoute from the mongoose was when a reporter once asked him after he first sproated his goatee and mustache if his wife didnt object to the new growth when she kissed him and he replied," A girl doesnt mind going through a little bush to get to a picnic."

He said, "Treat your body as a great athlete should for you will have this one until death calls you home."Comment

As he stuffed his face with the fried chicken he "could eat both warm and cold and with a fork and his hands."
