He was on his legs anyway, ref should have stepped in to check if he was alright. Running away is a good sign you're half knocked out.

Why don't more fighters take a knee as soon as they get hurt. Wouldn't that be the logical thing to do--unless the fighter has been hurt so badly that the brain rejects logic all together.

yeah he should have. That guy was all over the place and he really didn't want to fight. That kind of referee gets people hurt.

I've never been knocked out, but I reckon sometimes because you're "Not with it" you carry on standing.

Interesting question though. The closest I've been to being knocked out was in a car accident where i rolled the car on its roof, the firemen were laughing when they pulled me out from the car because I pulled the handbrake so the car wouldn't roll, even though the car was on its roof. The brain does strange when you've had a **** on the head.
