The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that promoter Bob Arum's recent win with the Nevada State Athletic Commission is going to lead to problems with certain future fights. In order to consider Las Vegas as the possible hosting grounds for Miguel Cotto vs. Antonio Margarito, Arum met with NSAC last week and got them to amend their rule that required all fighters above 135-pounds to use 10-ounce gloves. Both Cotto and Margarito, who collide on July 26, were refusing to fight in Las Vegas without their 8-ounce gloves. [details]

Holt knocked Torres silly and floored him good at one point of their fight. That might have something to do with it. To Torres credit though he came back and won like a champ. Ive seen far worse stoppages than that one.Comment

Make no mistake about it, Holt is a puncher. His problem is that he is worried about getting hit so he stays on his bicycle and isn't set to punch.Comment
