After weeks of negotiations, WBO welterweight champion Carlos Quintana accepted the financial terms for his June 7 rematch with Paul Williams. For the last few weeks, Quintana had been holding out on signing the fight contract because he felt the money being offered was too low. i've rewatched it a number of times on dvd slo-mo and i;m telling you williams threw dozens of power punches uppercuts that missed by fractions.
the looks on quintanas face!! hee hee
feel williams will have to improve very little to beat quintana.

Quintana shouldn't have agreed. It's a shame the promoters are shortchanging him on the sole fact that even if they give the champ chump change, it's still more than he has ever made.
I really hope Quintana somehow KOs Williams in the first round.Comment

I'm lookin forward to this fight. I was hopin Carlos would say **** the $ and just take the fight before he pulled out and got stuck makin even less for a ****** mandatory. I thought William would win the rematch when the talk first started, but now Carlos has gotta be pissed as **** and he might KO Paul this time. I hope Quintana gets anotha win on Williams.Comment

Williams should move up to 154, he looked weak and didn't have power in that fight. He beat Margarito 'cause Marg hates southpaw fighters that's why Cotto will beat Marg. Anyway Williams will have to move up want it or not he is loosing this one.Comment
