Look how lean he was. He's never really come into a fight fat, but that was the perfect 154 lb. physique. Too bad he never really had much power to go with it.

He should at least make the effort to get back down to 160 lbs.

Here's how the fight was scored:
judge: Marcos A. Torres 110-115, judge: Ove Ovesen 110-114, judge: Marcial Vargas 110-113.

It was a close fight and Wright could've won if not for those 3 rounds where he was almost KO'd in, the third knockdown is quite brutal and the fight could've been stopped by another referee.

That's why I edited my post, I hadn't watched it in a while. They were legit.

Winky won some of the early rounds and might have stolen some of the mid rounds. I didn't score the fight but the commentators were saying that the scores would've been closer. And as TheMachine posted, Winky could've won the fight without the knockdowns.

Most of those KD's were legit (probably all), but, if you watch the footage, you can clearly see Wink's feet sliding around on the yellow parts of the canvas. Sometimes when they paint/print the ads on, it makes for a slicker surface than the normal canvas. Combine that with sweat, spit, vasoline and water, and you've got Winky on Ice.

Damn who was the referee not stopping the fight after that many knockdowns?

We need more of those refs. That could have easly been stopped these days.
