I'm a big fan of both fighters so I expect to have mixed feelings. I always try to give props where they are due. As to excuses it depends on circumstances. I mean if one of them blows out their knee or something then that would be a legit excuse.

Excuses and hating out the ass, from just about everyone. That's how this board works. The negative is more fun, it seems.

Excuses, as in the judges scored it wrong for their guy.

If Cotto got knocked out, how could he compete on a higher level. Doesn't a higher level mostly have to do with toughness? He may have more skills, but if he gets KO'd he's not the better fighter. He's still your favorite fighter, not the better fighter.

I will be too. I want to see Cotto get his ass out classed by Floyd, not Margarito.

You're right. The better fighter is the one who gets his hand raised when it is over.

If Cotto wins in a war he will earn my admiration and support undying.

If he wins running I'll still be impressed.

                    Whats your thoughts?
It always depends, but I won't pull a "It was the referees fault, he didn't let them fight inside" LOL

What I mean is, after thr fight is over, who without bias won the fight. Take away your personal preference and judge the fight as a neutral judge.
