Will Rocky Juarez ever be a world champion?

I love rocky, he has insane power and loves to fight, wont back down and gives his all, threw himself in the deep end though.

Do you think he can recover from his losses and get a world belt?

His main problem now is that he is high risk low reward for anybody, Barrera knows this! Marquez completely out boxed him and beat him clearly, but he still showed a huge heart and i bet he would have fought him again 5 minutes later if the title was still on the line.

By the way, Juarez TKO barrios.

he should be fighting at featherweight, and if he cant beat the ghost, he should hang em up.

how did I not know he was fighting barrios, thats a bad stylistic matchup for Rocky

        ??????????????????????????

Did you see his fight against whathisface? I forget the guy's name, but it was on the DLH-Mayweather undercard. Rocky sure as hell looked like a warrior...posing. He did **** that entire bout.

And he's a "low" risk high reward. Good name on a resume, but he's easier to beat now (when you are getting beat so bad the crowd starts yelling "ROCKY SUCKS" you know you have a problem).

Rocky is the Zab Judah Featherweight. Not the easiest win (So I wouldn't say him as a low risk, but he's not high either), but it looks good on a resume.

Great power, excellant skill, better than average defense, but what wrecks all that is is ****TY work rate. If he'd throw more, he might own the division. Just seems like he has trouble pulling the trigger, or maybe he's just too much in love with his own power and thinks every fight is going to end with a single shot. Too bad, too, he can put together some nice combinations when he bothers doing it. Last time I saw him in the ring against Barrerra he did just enough to lose, in my opinion.

If i was to think about this realiticly and look at the division featherweight and jr.lightweight. Theres still a chance at either weight classes.

I think maybe - hope not. Rocky Juarez and Jose Navarro will be in the same sentence as Oba Carr. A great contender who just feel very short of being Champion and had all the tools to do so but because there were great Champions in his division he never won a title.

edit: with Navarro he's been robbed of his World Title win.

A few months back i was watch an old Rocky fight and little do i remember that Rocky got knocked down by a punch, first time in his carreer. So that got me thinking after that fight he may have turned into a more defensive fighter for fear of getting knocked down. I've seen it happen with other fighters.

If Rocky beats Barrios, he should challenge Valero since Edwin is now license in Texas.

Rocky mighta lost a lot of confidence in his big fight defeats. Punchers can't function without bein full of themselves. His power has failed him a couple times in big fights now, and he ain't been capable of outboxin anybody. He might get a belt but he'll never reach the high level everyone thought he'd be at right now.
