Julio will K.O. Ishe smith this wednesday.

Ishe has some pop in his punches but i don't think it will be enough to take out julio..

Julio needs to win this fight to set up a better test to then get into the test spot for a bigger name...

    Anyone wanna bet against julio?

I got 10k on... julio K.O's ishe smith.

    any believers?

i agree as well but i think ishe is too defensive minded to get ko'd............

smith could cause julio some problems like quintana did with the potshots and throwing off julio's rhythm and timing. who knows, i think smith is one of those guys who is great in the gym but when it comes to his live fights, he's average, because you hear a lot of praises of him form other fighters that have worked with him sparring and they say smith is really good in the ring, but his fights never live up to it.

I thought Ishe would be the one guy from Contender to at least grab a title strap, but he put on such a negative performance against Powell I get the feeling I was way off. He has a pretty good slick style though, which could pose problems for Julio.

I feel the same way. The past wins over Bailey and Estrada, and his style of fighting had me convinced that he could have REAL success coming off that show.

He was very hesitant with the hands against Powell, a fight I feel he gave away more so than Powell actually taking the victory.

Should be a good fight with Julio. I expect this to go the full distance, Julio ultimately winning the fight based on activity and Smith's lack thereof. This should be a good indication for everyone whether Julio has regained full confidence in himself.

You feel it going the distance...Could be...

But for some reason I just feel like Julio Knows and feels he has to knock this guy out to Throw himself out there.

You can't lose to a Contender series participant after the way they've been getting treated by the higher ups of boxings talent..

                    Understand wha im sayin?
