    I hope you are joking.

You are either joking or you have a really surprising lack of geographical knowledge.

To be British you either have to be from England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Or Gibralter or the Falkland Islands of course!

I think Mr. McGuigan has a point.

Obviously London-born boxer Joe Calzaghe is not the greatest boxer of all time, but he has never been beaten in his career and he has been a World Champion for well over a decade, so that puts him in contention to be labelled the greatest British boxer of all time.

To beat the likes of Lacy, Kessler, Eubank, Hopkins, Mitchell, Reid etc. is very good but to be recgonised as the greatest fighter on the planet in TWO weight divisions at the same time is just amazing.

That quote impressed me the most.

        Very good point, sir.

Barry McGuigan is Frank Warrens sock puppet I would take everything he says about Warren's fighters with a pinch of salt.

To be fair, he has criticised Calzaghe whenever he has churned out a bad performance, which of course has been very rare.

Yer I know he tries not to make it obvious and is honest most of the time, but he still has that bias. I think that Calzaghe could be one of the greatest British boxers however people should know that McGuigan is in cahoots with Warren.

This is my first time posting here, even though i've been visiting this site for a long time. I think Calzaghe has earned the right to be considered one of te greatest Bristish boxers of all time. the length of time he has been world champion and remained undefeated is remarkable.

Just wanted to point out to you that Northern Ireland isn't part of Britain. It's part of the UK. And to clear it up about Barry McGuigan, he's not part of Britain or the UK, he was born and reared in Clones which is in the Republic of Ireland.....which makes him Irish.
