That MF only saying that to try and make Floyd look bad and create further controversy or possibly try and get a negotiation edge. If he beats floyd then he has to rematch him. Never believe what comes out of his mouth, he is all about business. He cares less what any fan thinks. If he did we wouldn't be talking about the rematch.

Oscar De La Hoya says that his reunion with trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. is the key to beating Saturday's opponent, Steve Forbes, at the Home Depot Center in California, and winning his proposed September rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. [details]Comment

Floyd beat DLH at 154. The SD for Floyd was a bull**** decision, with one geriatric 70 something judge scoring it for DLH.
I hope HBO does the same thing they did with Hatton and Floyd and makes this seem like a fight where the outcome is highly in question.Comment

With Floyd Sr. in his corner...it's difficult for me to count De La Hoya out, although I'm still heavily favoring Money MayweatherComment

floyd sr isnt the best (or even close) trainer overall but for a fight with floyd jr i cant think of someone better qualified than floyd sr.
and i would be very happy to see oscar fight the winner of cotto v. margarito.
if oscar goes out 3 for 3 then he will have cleared out the welterweight division (at least the top dogs) in less than 4 months when boxing fans and critics have been wanting to see mayweather do the same thing for the past 2-3 years.
oscar (in my opinion) would be going out as high as he can go should he win 3 out of 3 down the stretch.Comment

i love to hear to that and i love watching the golden boy kick the ugly boy.
though i believe ugly boy is far more superior, i still hope delahoya will finally beat him.
with ugly old floyd sr. in his corner, i hope delahoya can solve the riddle to beat ugly boy floyd mayweather jr.Comment

I actually thought it was a **** game plan with Roach. I think their plan was leaning towards overpowering Mayweather. If I remember correctly a lot of the padwork during 24/7 focused on Oscar throwing power shots. Oscar also wasted a lot of energy throwing ineffective shots in the clinch.Comment
