    Whatever Hapenned to JASON LITZAU?

He is one of my favorite boxers. Never heard anything about him since getting KO'd by Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero.

Any news or update about him will be appreciated. Thanks guys...

Last I read a fan wrote into The Ring and said that Litzau was hurt by his lack of fan support at the Guerrero fight. It was painful for him.

Litzau's career is in trouble right now, he may be relegated to fighting on ESPN for the rest of his career....He's exciting and has a big heart, but he has no defence, no chin and poor stamina.

litzau road the wave with casual boxing fans.
chavez jr. and khan are doing the same. lets see what happens when they actually step it up.
camacho jr. got boo'd this weekend in mexico after lacky showing. and there were whistles in same crowd when chavez jr. appeared to take rounds off against someone he should of got out of there earlier.

He only got KO'd about a month or two ago. He's probably still under medical suspension anyway. I'd look for him to go up a weight class and start over rebuilding his confidence with carefully picked opposition for awhile.

Litzau's the kind of fighter that should be on network TV. That's if boxing gets back on network TV. He's too big a risk for Showtime or HBO to sign him to a 4 or 5 fight deal because he could potentially lose all of his fights. I don't know why everyone hates him He's an all action chinny fighter who always gives an honest effort. I believe he'll snag a belt in 2-3 years. You just have to be a smart matchmaker. Like for example no Southpaws and no counter-punchers. Guess what Guerrero was?

He lost a fight he shouldn't have when that one guy who's name escapes me KO'd him a few years back, and when he rebuilt himself into a title challenger he got dominated and stopped by Ghost. He's relegated to journeyman status now.

Litzau had his moments against Guerrero, but was overmatched and took a beating. He has too much pride because he could be better served to use his length, but he likes to mix it up and his chin can't take that much punishment.
