    I'm going with the 8th.
If he was going to KO Mayweather it would be early. Within the first few rounds. Hearns generally always got his KO's in the first few otherwise he would just out-box his opponent. Hearns most certainly could out-box Mayweather quite easily also. While Mayweather is fast, Hearns is just as fast, but what is needed to beat Hearns is either a super fast jab with a long reach and power. Mayweather has neither and being a counter puncher just wouldn't be able to get past Hearns' jab and right.

Hearns' underrated left hook and body attack would play quite well in this fight also. Anyway, not much to say about this. I actually don't think Hearns would KO Mayweather. If he did it would be early but Mayweather, if anything, is great defensively. Nonetheless, at 147 there is just no way he is beating Tommy 'Hitman' Hearns!

Floyd is the only fighter of this generation that I could see actually beating members of the fab 4. I sometimes romantacize the past however, Floyd is on par skill-wise with boxers of that generation. Outside of Roy, in his prime, no boxer in recent times has reached floyd's level within this game. It's time to give PBF his just due. The fact of the matter is, as easily as folks can envision Tommy ko'ing PBF with the straight right, I could see Pbf smacking Hearn with a leaping left hook (Chico). Nobody is walking through Floyd.

Now, while I can dig your sentiment, there is just no way Mayweather would down Hearns like he beat Chico. Chico was a good power puncher and that's about it. Hearns had some of the best pure boxing skills at the time, and of all time for that matter (I certainly put him up there as the greatest boxer/power puncher) and there were many great boxers then. So, while I agree that Mayweather is great and would be a tough challenge for either Leonard/Duran or Hearns there is just no way he would beat Hearns or any of them for that matter. Hearns had everything needed to actually beat Mayweather pretty easily and Mayweather didn't have enough to beat Tommy Hearns.

First off, Prime for prime and they would never have met as Floyd's best prime is at 135/140 where he still carries good punching power.

Second off, if they were to meet at welterweight where clearly Hearns is the more natural welter, I still don't think he would ko Floyd. Too good of a defense.

I won't waiste my time arguing who would have won but that fight goes to distance.
