Because back then he was interested in fighting the best, and to proove hes the best. Today i think he feels he has done all he needs to so he just looks for money now.

Your sig even has it in. I'm a Mayweather fan as well lol.

After the Baldomir fight Mayweather said he was going to retire after the DLH fight and that he was'nt in boxing for the money it was about his legacy. I guess the cheque from the DLH fight changed his mind on both things.

One day he's about money, one day he's about legacy, some days he claims he's about both money and legacy, some days he claims he's retired, while some days he claims he's done EVERYTHING there is to do in the sport. Some days he claims his body is breaking down, then chooses to let a 400lb wrestler step on his back and hands. Some days he claims its all about the fans, then says that he's not fighting to prove to the fans who the best is. Some days he claims he's gonna give MMA a shot, then decides to dance on tv and wave a flag at a redneck race. Some days he wants to be a rapper, then some days he says he's a promoter. Some days he loves his daddy, then some days he hates his daddy. IF THIS ISNT THE MOST CONFUSED INCONSISTANT MOFO IN THE WORLD, THEN I DONT KNOW WHO IS!

Well he might as well retire after Dec, because Oscar will no longer be around to give him mega paydays. Oscar's Floyd's daddy!

Dont expect many floydboyz to respond to that post. U know truth is like kryponite to them when it comes to floyd.

Since when? Since Floyd has been reduced to that being his final excuse to not fight! he wasnt saying this **** when it came fighting Castillo, or Sosa, or Baldimor who had no following, he wasnt shouting who has he beat when he took on Ndou.
But now since he stepped in there with De La Hoya in order to avoid the question as to why are you willing to fight Oscar and not Margarito or Cotto he can use that PPV term as a way out of the question.
its a catch 22, though Honestly those who use a fighters numbers obviously are not fans of the sport, they are fans of the business a big difference there.
but like I said if Floyd does not fight Tony or Cotto or both, he will be more remembered for ducking the best in his divison there is no way he can avoid that lable if he doesnt fight them its a fact.
