Pacquaio did use 8 ounce gloves with both of his fights with marquez. The rule states any weight class 135 and over. Manny hasn't fought over 135. Get your facts striaght.

We will not see anymore KO from Pac. TKO is more likely.

10 oz gloves will have a minimal impact on pacquiao's power.

        how about the brand?

            Too much praises!

As the Mexicans say, "solo los viejos", and I agree. Manny decided to fight Oscar because Freddie Roach thought Oscar 'can't pull the trigger anymore'. Freddie seemed to have come out right. But think that Oscar had to dehydrate to go down to a weight set by Freddie Roach himself. I admire Oscar's courage taking the challenge despite what he had to undergo.

For Manny to deserve those luxurious praises to him like being the 'David demolishing Goliath', best pound4pound boxer in the world, immortal in the likes of Henry Armstrong, Roberto Duran or Sugar Ray Leonard, why is he avoiding Juan Manuel Marquez who I thought defeated Manny in their two fights and raring to fight him again? Or Edwin Valero who is a young boxer? True champoins should not be cowards.

On the other side of the coin, what could had Manny achieved had Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera and Oscar de la Hoya been in their prime?
