If Floyd took on Gomez as a "stay busy" fight while he awaited the winner of (lets say) Cotto/Margarito, then why would anybody have a problem. Fight Gomez or stay inactive doing nothing? i'd say fight Gomez.

Fresher, being that he is 2-2.. or 1-3 if you count the Sturm win as a loss?

Mitchell was a stay busy fight for Judah..but ya'll BLAST him for it..

Even though Mitchell was ranked much higher at 147 than Gomez has ever been..

Gomez WAS an inactive fight..

He was hardly active..

Sturm didn't have Oscar hollerin and crawling across the canvas like Mosley was against Forrest..

Winky and Forrest 4 TIMES is far more punishment than Strum and Hopkins.

Oscar has a lot more left in the tank than Shane...PERIOD..
