Steve forbes is gonna get KILLED in the ring.

I hate these mismatches, they make me want to kick an old guy in the nuts

or beat the ***** out of an elderly lady crossing the street.

      ok

this is the perfect tune up fight for delahoya. He can work with floyd mayweather sr again and become comfortable with him again. Steve forbes is a decent fighter but i don't see him giving the great oscar delahoya to much trouble. Felix sterm was able to just out size oscar. forbes has no chance of that. He will fight like a poor man's pretty boy and oscar can gain valuable experience against a fighter of that style. The multi million doller check he's going to get won't hurt either. At the end of the day if he can make 150 why not make 147 for the rematch with floy mayweather jr and can fight him for the lineal welterweight crown. Oscar said he wants to go out with a ****. There it is and if he wins have the trilogy fight in december to end his career.
whatever your thoughts on delahoya he's helped keep the sport going. More then i can say. good luck oscar.

I dont think a struggle against forbes will make his campaign for a sep. rematch with floyd possible. De la hoya has to show the fans the boxing world and floyd that he is going to pose a big threat to floyds crown.

It will serve him right for fighting underweighted fighters, conning the Spanish public into believeing how great he is, and a slap in the face, to the commissions for allowing such an advantage, over and over again, just for the sake of making money!!!!

How will you be able to tell when the other guy is Stevie Forbes? There's a world of difference between Floyd and Forbes.

Forbes has been a sparring partner for Hatton's last two fights.

He did that the first time by KO'ing Mayorga. This time around, I think the boxing public is more convinced that Floyd will easily outbox Oscar.
