2.5 million people bought the DLH fight, 1.5 bought the Ricky fight. So that it almost 4 million people watching these OTHER fighters that no one has ever heard of. Im sure about 1/10 of the people that watched saw a fighter that they didnt know, and liked them by the end of their fight. So when they here their name on lets say FNF, they will go ahead and watch them fight again. Then they might see another fighter they like. So now by watching Floyd, they have found 2 other fighters they like. So we have a new fan and more viewers. Are you telling me Edner Cherry made no fans by KOing Wes Ferguson(?), Floyd's fighter. So now they saw the KO and will watch him fight again because they like him. THat is promoting boxing. By introducing fighters people have never heard of to a new audience. THERE, IT'S OVER your arguement has just been thrown in the trash.

Everybody has their own style and way of doing things. Floyd has to work harder for his fame in and outside of the ring then Delahoya just to get a teaste of his money and fame.

Mike Tyson was the biggest sport attraction of all times yet he didn't help nobody but himself. People paid alot of money for a decade to see him knock bums out and they kept coming back even after he started declining and losing fights. Once he left, a large portion of those fans left with him.

Technically, it's the promoters of the sport job to spread out the sport of boxing not the fighters.

Floyd is the WORLD'S Greatest Boxer as of right now. If you beg to differ You don't know boxing. Just wanted to show some appreciation to the man who is SINGLE HANDILY keeping the sport of boxing in the mainstream eye. Without Floyd, the recent surge of MMA would probably be at or just about at the spot where boxing is. Thank You Floyd.

This has nothin to do wit anything. Cotto's fans don't attack Floyd for anything he does, just for what he won't do, which is defend his WW title against his #1 challenger. Plain and simple. It srill might happen later but it shoulda happened already.
