At HW the serious threats don't all pay big bucks. If he wanted to prove himself he could go to Germany to fight big Virchis or someone like that. In all likelihood he will get knocked out that way

on a serious note i think Wlad is not being honest when he says he hadn't heard of Haye until a few months ago as his training partner Banks is a cruiserweight and would surely have mentioned Haye at some point.

Haye has NO credentials at HEAVYWEIGHT, he's just a guy that knocked out some bums in the CRUISERWEIGHT division.

Macca and Mormek are hardly bums. He has 4 belts man, the big ones and has unified the division already. What me to tell you how long is taking Wlad to do the same? err lol?

...We know his limitations and the fact that he has had a tendency to kid of freeze up a bit in the past. IMO it's all behind him. His chin gets a bad rap in that it was only truly touched once, and he kept getting up. The Peter fight was a rabbit punch fest and Wlad was still mentally fragile at the time. He still won the fight going away and if they fought again Peter would get knocked out. Brewster was fatigue for some odd reason. You saw what happened in the rematch.

...As to your question. Haye hasn't even proved that he has enough power to deal with the really big heavies. To attempt to put a cruiserweight in Sanders category of power is beyond laughable. Sanders also has faster hands and his left is one of the most deadly weapons ever. He also has a beard. Something the Gaye does not possess IMO.

Wlad dont get KTFO cause he is a quitter he sends out distress signals to the referee & his cornerman that he dont wanna fight anymore thats whe he was rescued by his corner against Purity cause he was fawling around the ring & had a look on his face that suggested im done ,in the Brewster fight he sent out the same distresss signals as if he wanted out ,if u look at his face when he comes back from the 5th against Peter u can see he is ready to quit there but the bell saved him

honestly i dont know where to start with this post. haye was a celebrated amateur and has achieved a massive amount in his short pro career, and his technique is awful?

i agree bad technique did'nt stop Iran Barkley wrecking Tommy Hearns & it did'nt stop Ricardo Mayorga wrecking Vernon Forrest twice

take a look at Pacmans technique ,if u wanna talk about telegraphing punches take a look at the right hands Forrest is thrwoing against Mosley that he could not avoid or the way Jermain Taylor throws his bow & arrow right hand

having flaws is one thing capatalising on them is another ,Naseem Hameds balance was terrible but it took a legendry fighter like Marco Barrera to exploit it and that was his 30+ fight

i cant take Kayjay seriously since he said that Wlad has a better legacy than Lewis or he was a better fighter

Haye bench pressed 400lbs a few weeks before the Macc fight, with no bounce.

Expect him to be bench pressing a strict 500+lbs in a year or less, with the extra weight (clean muscle) on.


FWIW

going from 400 to 500 in a year at Haye's bodywieght will be near impossible. If he did indeed bench 400, he's going to absolutely battle for every pound gained above that.
