Burner is delusional if he thinks Calzaghe can't beat that version of RJJ. I'm not underestimating RJJ but I think Calzaghe would beat him.

You know **** about Calzaghe's power at 175, he fought a guy who NEVER gets hit cleanly, has one of the best chins in boxing and it was his 1st fight at 175 none really knows what he can do at 175. At 168 before his hands were fragile he was a monster.. it's obvious you're never seen him fight Brewer, Mitchell & Veit. Burner is a complete bias **** as well... just had to add that.

It would be foolish to completely count out Roy Jones but you'd have to a bigger fool to actually favor him against Calzaghe at this point. Jones won't pull a Bika or Hopkins, he'll try to fight it out and eat lots of shots as a result. I don't think Jones will get knocked out though, maybe a late stoppage at the most. At any rate, Calzaghe by UD.

Jones last fight against a pressure fighter with a pulse.

Woah look at that highlight against Trini. Not really his punches or his defence but his LEGS and his MOVEMENT. He still has some of that left, alot more than people are giving him credit for. I can't wait for this one, I think some people are in for a shocker.

It would be remarkable if Jones won this, it would be his career best win IMO.

You of ALL people shouldn't accuse others of voting with their hearts. Generalizations are pure IDIOCY.

It's not an ego, just speaking facts. If you get paid it means you have a job. Boxing cannot have experts because it is far from being an exact science. Unless there is a knockout, it is wide open to interpretation.

Their opinions should not be mentioned in a way to represent any more weight about a fights potential outcome.

From Joe's and Jones last fights, I saw two distinctive things. I saw Joe showing real signs of getting old, wide open for lead right hands, hand speed diminished and his punch output not effective.

For Jones I saw i guy who has made adjustments and fought smart considering his diminished reflexes. He also showed signs of what he has always showed. That is having great punch timing and making his opponents pay for even throwing punches. Jones still has the ability to make opponents afraid to throw punches even at this stage.

Do my opinions above make me right? Nope, but it is a guess as good as anyone else's. It is all about interpretation and no boxing "expert" can do it better than me, you or anyone else that tries to clean the mud off the surface to look at the intangibles.

Calzaghe will beat Jones by comfortable UD or late TKO.
I used to hate this guy, but this is the second time today i have to agree with him. Also, did you not pick Hopkins to beat him? ( I have a feeling you did but i dunno)

And i'm pretty sure i saw you claiming hopkins was robbed.

I doubt Jones will win now, but you never know. I cant think of many if any guys i think will beat calzaghe, even when you outbox him, he throws 1,000 missed punches which people actually count as scoring punches. He's gonna be really hard to beat right now.

PRIMES, its not even a discussion.

There is no such thing as a boxing expert, only people who think they are. I have followed this game hard for 35 years and was a boxer for 10 years. Does that make me an expert? **** no. It makes me an ******* with an opinion.

There are no boxing experts, only *******s with opinions. That is why we have three judges, they are *******s with opinions also, but the law of averages hopes they will blend and get it right. That is all we can hope for.
