Me neither. I think it's just favoritism and bias, because if anyone took the time to analyze how each guy has been fighting lately, it's obvious Roy has no chance.
A prospect named Anthony Hanshaw outlanded Roy; just imagine what Calzaghe would unleash upon him. Hanshaw was so active that Roy stayed on the ropes 90% of time with his arms up doing NOTHING. How he was given those rounds is beyond me, people complain about Floyd running even while he outlands his opponents, but Roy stays on the ropes completely paralyzed and he somehow wins the round. Jones simply cannot do this against Calzaghe, and even if he decides to fight in the center of the ring, Calzaghe is faster, stronger, and smarter than Roy at this stage of their careers.
Just because Jones beat a Tito coming of a two-year layoff, a shutout loss, and fighting 10 pounds over his previous highest fighting weight does NOT mean this man can be competitive with the top dogs of the sport, much less a Top 5 P4Per like Calzaghe.
