    Just my opinion.

7 pounds make a worlds diffrence......

    Hatton and Cotto agree.

I think 154 has a few fighters who can counterpunch.

    Bad for Paul Williams.

Forrest and Paul will never fight.

Williams will most likely get a piece of Julio or Mayorga real soon.

Williams beats Mayorga for a WIDE decision.

I don't know anything about Julio, other than he is a power puncher.

Williams's chin is so legit though. I think power punchers are his easiest style to beat.

Forrest, De La Hoya and Spinks would give him fits at 154 IMO.

Williams is overrated, he got exposed badly by Quintana....Quintana showed the blueprint on how to beat him, Williams can't handle slick guys and counterpunchers.

I think the Quitana rematch will be the LAST time for some years that you see Paul in here with a throwback Like Quitana.

Spinks..Forest...Oscar...Pauls team wont let them near them.

Williams vs. Mayorga should get the ball rolling.

Some fighters benefit from moving up in weight and some some don't.

Paul Wiliams is not a natural power puncher. Most of the time he punches with a open fist. He wasn't getting tired at 147, his conditioning seemed fine.

I see P.Williams the same way I see Corrales, the more they move up in weight then more problems they will have. Corrales was a beast at 130/135 but once he got to 147 he looked weak. Skills just weren't there. His best asset is his height advantage. Same goes for williams.

However he might do well at 154.

Power punching isnt Williams forte..Hes a volume puncher.

                  Corralles moved up to far.

Exactly why it's a disadvantage. If a guy gets inside, Williams is too big to let his hands go. Generally for a real big guy, it is better to have a great jab and keep his distance hitting his opponents from a wide range.

Then more he moves up then less his **** works. Quintana beating him had nothing to do with Weight, just a good boxer landing the more eye catching punches cruising to a UD.

I was a P. Williams fan and still am pulling for him to win the rematch. I'd like to think that he underestimated Quintana but we shall see.
