Take it how you want it. All I know is that I disproved your 10% simplifying theory with facts.
Every guy floyd fought on PPV had their career highest payday. The majority of them fought on PPV for the first time ever.Comment

How is it spin. Every guy floyd fought has either been in their first major PPV, had their career high payday including Oscar Delahoya.
Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, Delahoya all benefited from Floyd being their opponent, money wise and PPV numbers wise.
But it's ok keep making yourself feel better thinking that.Comment

Well said. Floyd is the attraction. People either love him and pay to watch him fight or hate him and pay in hopes for him to lose.Floyd vs Gatti - Gatti's first and only PPV fight. Biggest payday of his career.
Floyd vs Judah - Judah's first PPV and the highest PPV numbers of his career. Cotto-Judah did less then that. The biggest payday of his career.
Floyd vs Baldomir - Baldomir's first and only PPV. His biggest payday to date. Baldomir against Gatti ( you know Gatti, the guy that Floyd did a PPV with because he is such a PPV attraction) was on free HBO.
Floyd vs Oscar - 2.5 million PPV buys....a new record. Did more then Oscar-Mosley, Oscar-Trinidad, Oscar-Mayorga, Oscar-(insert here).
You have just been shut down.Comment

i agree with the premise welter, the proof that people dont like floyd is in the betting lines.
he was about -220 against hatton, hatton really wasnt going to win that fight. but people bettting (hoping) on hatton were doing it cause they just cant bring themselves to put money on someone they hate.
same goes for de la hoya, may should have been a -250, -300 at least. i believe it was more like -150. people were betting on the result they "wanted" not the result that was almost a foregone conclusion
even when mayweather fought gatti in a huge mismatch he was only a -450 favorite when the book closed, late money showed for gatti. should been more like -1500.Comment

in the last 3 years, it has been made evident that Mayweather is the 2nd biggest draw in boxing behind only Oscar. nobody sells PPVs like him.Comment

Wanting to see him get knocked out or not it is all green to him. And the world contiues to rotate...Comment
