    Teddy Atlas

What do you guys think of teddy as a trainer? When i turn pro, am gonna base my self in america, am currently in the u.k. I was going to get in touch with him to see if he would at least take a look at me. Also just to clear something up with my bro did he star training micheal grant before or after the lewis fight?

Atlas actually had a rather poor record as a trainer.

Several top prospects such as Grant went downhill while working with Teddy - boxers found him very difficult to work with and usually dumped him after a few months.

Some are of the opinion Moorer won his title despite Atlas, not because of him.

how long have you been boxing, what's your amateur record? Just wondering?

How would you afford Teddy Atlas, wouldn't he be wanting 100's of thousands!? He's pretty famous!

How does it work? If I went to Wildcard could I get trained by Freddie Roach with little amateur background but he thought I was good????? I would've thought you would get any old trainer till you can afford people like that.

Atlas is not a very good pro trainer.

His claim to fame is allegedly willing Moorer to victory against Holyfield. If you watch the fight in full, you'll see how lazy Moorer was after Atlas begged him to fight with more passion.

Moorer showed more heart and passion in fights before and after Atlas.

What other success did Atlas have as a pro trainer?

His short time with Lalonde? Grant? Muriqi? Briggs?
