To warrant a rematch? But seriously, Ricky is one tough fighter and Floyd really had to "wrestle" with him and do a lot to keep him off him. I don't think he struggled with Hatton (considering Hatton only won like 2 rounds), it was just a tough physical fight that he had to use a lot of energy on.

I don't think he was used to that after breezing by Baldomir and not having to be that physical with Oscar.

I'll also take Floyd's word that Hatton was the toughest competitor he ever faced. I would imagine there's some reason he said that..

What round was that? You couldn't be talking about the entire fight, lol. However I do agree with Addison that the gross dismissal of Hatton's talents by Floyd's blind followers is absurd. Mayweather's win proved his own greatness rather than Hatton's incompetance. I mean a guy wins over 40 straight fights, moves up in weight to fight the #1 boxer in the world, and suddenly he becomes a joke to alleged expert viewers? That's some really ****** **** and it gets real tiring to hear and read every day.

No, he won by left hooking Hatton into a ring post.
              Blame Cortez.

Let's put it this way, if the the referee wasn't Joe Cortez Hatton wouldn't have gotten kayod. I also think that if the fight takes place in England, Mayweather doesn't get away with the elbows, forearms, clinches, bending below the waist, etc., etc.

Let's put it this way. If Mayweather was an left arm amputee, Joe Cortez was Papa Smurf, and the ring post was made of ****ers and mash...
                    Hatton would have still lost.

                      3) Mayweather was holding on, and his face looked very uneasy at different points despite the fact that Hatton was rarely landing.
Do you think Mayweather looked uneasy because he couldn't deal with it, or because he was trying to manage the wildness.

I agree with u: I've watched that fight again, and Hatton really didn't land anything meaningful. Chavez, Judah, Oscar, Zab, Corley, etc all landed better shots than RH.
