To warrant a rematch? But seriously, Ricky is one tough fighter and Floyd really had to "wrestle" with him and do a lot to keep him off him. I don't think he struggled with Hatton (considering Hatton only won like 2 rounds), it was just a tough physical fight that he had to use a lot of energy on.

I don't think he was used to that after breezing by Baldomir and not having to be that physical with Oscar.

I'm willing to qualify my position though. It is the same for me. To begin with, I've seen every professional fight in his career including many of his fights before he turned pro. I can consider myself extremely familiar with Floyd the fighter, and Floyd the individual. Secondly, I've been an informal expert on human behavior my whole life, and a certified expert as a graduate of one of the best Method acting schools in the world. I studied for years and years. Mayweather's win proved his own greatness rather than Hatton's incompetance. I mean a guy wins over 40 straight fights, moves up in weight to fight the #1 boxer in the world, and suddenly he becomes a joke to alleged expert viewers? I agree with u: I've watched that fight again, and Hatton really didn't land anything meaningful. Chavez, Judah, Oscar, Zab, Corley, etc all landed better shots than RH.
