Rojas was going to be on the receiving end of a highlight reel KO.

He was out on his feet, but Khan was worse against Maidana and that wasn't stopped. I feel the ref jumped in super fast to keep aleems carefully protected career intact. At least let aleem hit him one more time and drop him, but just because a fighter is out on his feet doesn't mean he can't come to before being hit again and turn the tables, it's the end of the freaking fight for crying out loud lol, not like it's the first round and you are saving him from a Mago type catastrophe.

Rojas was seriously hurt and it's very dangerous to get hit when your brain is in that state. Tough call for the ref because typically when a fighter is that wobbly, he goes down. He did The Macarena for nearly 10 seconds and would have gotten knocked out anyway.
